How does a day in the Worship & Arts Stream look like?
Every wednesday is Worship & Arts Day: We start together with worship. After that we talk about what it means to be a true worshipper. We will hear various teachings of worship leaders, musicians and artists that can be discussed in smaller groups. After that we dive into music theory. Harmonics, organology, audio engineering, song analysis and band Leadership are further topics. After lunch we will sharpen on our skills: Performance, Rhythm and Vocal Training are the core areas. In the second half of the afternoon we will write songs. The main songwriters of ICF Zurich will give you a behind the scenes look into their songwriting. It is the goal that at the end of every semester every student will perform a self written song. Specials: We will continuously invite guest speakers, one afternoon about conflict management within a band and a daytrip to a studio are also on the schedule. The top highlight at the end of every semester is the Major Performance Day. All the Worship & Arts Students will perform their own songs.
